Test Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Required:

4 Year completed Electrical or Computer Engineering degree.

Job description:

Development (i.e. software development) and maintenance of hands free audio and acoustic testing and analysis tools
* Hands free audio tuning and performance testing
* Profiling of cellular phone devices using digital measurement equipment
* Development of objective test methods for evaluating hands free audio performance
* Benchmarking analysis of competitive hands free audio solutions

Required Skills/Experience:
* Bachelor of Science in Engineering
* Software Skills: C, C++, Java, MatLab, etc
* Background in digital signal processing and hands free audio
* Vehicle acoustic listening and evaluation skills.
* Experience with audio test equipment
* Demonstrated success in a fast pace results oriented engineering development
* High level of oral and written communication skills
* Understanding of engineering theory and principles of operation of mechanical/electrical mechanisms
* Exhibits appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with business partners to meet mutual goals, including building and maintaining mutually beneficial business and networking relationships, both informal and formal
* High level analytical ability where problems are unusual, complex or ambiguous
* High level of interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively with others
Work Site Description: Warren Technical Center
Preferred Work Schedule: M - F; 9am - 5pm.
