SUMMARY
* Understand root causes for any non-conforming products and works with customer, operations, and quality teams to develop solutions for improvement
* Act as project manager to implement corrective actions and monitor effectivity of the actions
* Identify improvement opportunities for existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and yield
* Opportunity to be trained as Six Sigma Green or Black Belt

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Analyze existing processes and propose and implement improvements to productivity, quality and capability
* Support operations team by working closely with team leaders to support them in achieving their quality and operational goals
* Responsible for monitoring and reporting of process performance using statistical and capability metrics
* Propose and justify the addition or upgrade of equipment in order to increase capacity, capability or quality
* Identify emerging technologies in the industry and evaluate applicability for competitive advantage
* Incorporate new technologies into existing manufacturing processes.
* Benchmark internal and external best practices, develop and implement plans to initiate and standardize best practices
* Drive Lean Manufacturing improvements throughout the organization
* Use statistical analysis, as applicable, in order to achieve smooth and predictable production processes
