Spartan is currently hiring Machine Operators in LaPorte, IN. for a reputable manufacturing facility.

 

 

Job Description

 

• Work with one or more multiple- spindle, automatic lathe type screw machines
• Ensure machine is properly set up
• Read blueprints to ensure you are choosing the correct cutting speeds, depth of cuts, determine how fast machine should run

 

Job Requirements

 

• Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing or warehouse environments
• Ability to work independently and lift up to 50 pounds consistently
•  Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
•  Steel Toe Shoes Required

• Relevant experience preferred
• Committed to safety at all times
• Excellent attendance

 

 

Pay Rate: $12 hour

Shift/Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday - Friday
