Machine Operators - Full-time / Part-time

CoWorx Staffing is recruiting for Machine Operators on all shifts for our client in the Palmer, MA area.

Job duties:

1)Measure brush length and wire size and if bulk job, coin size and location on
stem using a caliper

2)Check for correct materials for each job. When you open a new box of
brushes check the job number on the ticket and compare the new brushes to the
ones in use.

3)Keep hopper and bowls on the machine filled. Hoppers are filled with rods
which are placed at the machine by Material Handler. Bowls are filled with
brushes which are located at the machine by Material Handler or the Zahoransky
machine operator.

4)Visually inspect assembled brushes or bulk brushers. Look for buckles, nose
hairs, side hairs, spaces, missing coils, burnt stock, and burrs on cut and
separation of twisted wire - recognition of these defects is taught during
training period.

Candidates should be flexible with job duties as they will be cross trained in the assembly department.


Job Requirements

We are looking for a self motivated individual with good attention to detail, the ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision, and works well with others. Previous manufacturing experience of 1+ years in the same or similar role is a MUST!
