Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring that the community is safe, attractive, and operating within budget
* Responding to resident/director/staff requests for maintenance
* Janitorial work (removing garbage from facility and cleaning floors and carpets)
* Interacting with residents and guests daily and taking initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority
* Maintaining positive communications with local fire marshal, building inspector, and any other jurisdictions governing the community

We seek the following qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED
* One year of previous maintenance experience, including HVAC and painting experience required
* Knowledge of preventative maintenance and mechanical skills preferred
* Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public
* Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
* Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks.
