Centerline, a TrueBlue Company, is looking for a Remote Service Manager - Dispatch for their office in the Union, NJ market.

The Remote Service Manager is responsible for maintaining excellence in customer service to ensure that all clients, internal and external, are treated equally while utilizing each of our core values. This position is also responsible for monitoring and maintaining DOT compliance at all times. This position reports directly to the Service Center Manager who is located in southern California.
  • Reinforces a culture in the company that places an emphasis on customer service.
  • Gathers best practices from across all regions and within sister companies, to develop and assist in the implementation of consistent customer and employee service.
  • Seeks ways to improve necessary procedures in order to streamline processes.
  • Utilizes daily computer skills and inputs information according to UltraStaff and Centerline Policies and Procedures. Helps to give a clear understanding of the Service Support Team.
  • Ensures the appropriate procedures and policies are followed and that all corrective action is completed for drivers involved in accidents and/or injuries.
  • Analyzes customer and worker experience data to determine specific needs
  • Ensures all drivers meet the hiring requirements of Customers to ensure that Centerline meets and/or exceeds their expectations.
  • Personal interaction with Centerline's customers to further penetrate and develop business. Ensures a positive customer service perception and reinforces a Value Added proposition to our customers.
  • Handle customer complaints quickly to resolve any issues. Ensure the customer sees and feels Centerline's Customer Service Mission Statement.
  • Covers the "On-Call" Emergency Dispatch rotation as required.
  • Completes Accident/Injury Reports as needed and according to Policies and Procedures. Determines DOT and non DOT testing requirements.
  • Processes written warnings as needed to maintain proper documentation
  • Plays an active role in lowering WSR and increasing Customer and Worker retention rates.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Two plus years Customer Service experience
  • Two plus years Transportation or transportation staffing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Demonstrative leadership ability and success in delivering results through the actions of others.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to persuade an audience.
  • Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse employee population.
  • Excellent problem-solving and judgment.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and a car that can be used for work.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time. (Area can include several states and represent vast geographic areas)
