Description
The Fresh Market currently has an opening for a Payroll Clerk in our Corporate Offices in Greensboro, North Carolina. As the Payroll Clerk you will be responsible for working closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure the success of the department by collaborating with teams to develop automated exception handling processes, as well as the daily mailing of manual checks and regular payroll checks.
Responsibilities
- Processing bi-weekly payroll for multi-state hourly and salary employees
- Setting up employees and making adjustments in our Kronos time system
- Entering new employees in the UltiPro HRIS system
- Processing garnishments for federal, state and other agencies
- Calculating payroll adjustments for retro-active salary changes
- Updating tax locations for transfers
- Setting up direct deposit accounts
- Scanning and indexing payroll records
Qualifications
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 3 years of payroll related experience
- Experience processing multi-state payroll in a fast pace environment
- The ability to work independently with minimum supervision
