Primary Responsibilities:  



  • Have direct accountability for the accounts receivable (AR) portion of the Audit and Recovery Operations (ARO) area

  • Management of up to 6 direct reports (managers and individual contributors), overseeing approximately 50 staff

  • Direct accountability for the management of the aging and correct posting of $400,000,000-$500,000,000 in recovery dollars

  • Management of outside overpayment recovery vendors

  • Business requirements for system enhancements to support recovery processes

  • Associated reporting and reconciliation

  • May also be accountable for some overpayment identification activities

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • 10+ years of experience in a Accounts Receivable, Accounting, or other Finance-related role within a Finance, Insurance, or Medical industry

  • 5+ years of experience managing vendors

  • 5+ years of experience working directly with UT/IT departments on system requirements and/or configuration to support business activities

  • Previous experience in the management of at least $100 million dollars annually
    Proficient in Excel (macros), Cognos/SAS, and/or Access database management or development

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in business or public health

  • Experience managing client relationships

  • Six Sigma process improvement experience/training
