Who we are:
We are a fast growing online retailer located in Milford, CT. We have an immediate full time opening for a Shipping/Receiving clerk.
Responsibilities:
1. Receive and inspect merchandise for defects
2. Label and shelve merchandise
3. Process orders: pick, pack, label, and ship orders
4. Update tracking information
5. Make boxes
6. Maintain cleanliness in shipping area
Requirements & qualifications:
1. Must have high school diploma or equivalent
2. Be proficient with basic computer programs such as Microsoft Excel
3. Be able to type at a decent pace (at least 35 words a minute)
4. Is quick with his/her hands
5. Have good eyesight
No experience is needed. Ideal candidate would be someone who is energetic, driven, organized, have a good eye for small things, be able to work quickly, efficiently and independently, and most importantly he/she would be someone who is honest, reliable, and a team player.
Hours:
Monday: 8 am - 5 or 6 pm depending on workload for the day
Tuesday - Friday: 8:30 am - 5 pm
Between Black Friday and Christmas, overtime is mandatory.
Compensation:
Starting salary is $11.50 an hour. Vacation pay and 401k are available
