Primary Responsibilities:


  • Management of the QI Program and activities

  • Manages and is accountable for professional employees

  • Works cross-functionally, making recommendations or clarifying information to assist in closing gaps that are identified or meeting customer expectations

  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges

  • Influences or provides input to forecasting and planning activities

  • Oversee the design, creation  and implementation   Quality Improvement projects and initiatives

  • Conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that may include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for quality management planning and management needs

  • Provide analytical support and expertise when compiling and reporting information

  • Develop and present recommendations and alternatives for management and executive review

  • Assume responsibility for data integrity among various internal groups and/or between internal and external sources

  • Develop department strategic action plans including identification of objectives, goals and strategies

  • Develop and implement effective analysis, research and evaluation of quality management metrics

  • Develop, analyze and monitor new, routine and ad hoc reports using multiple data sources and systems

  • Facilitate Quality Meeting

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or Higher; Clinical Degree preffered

  • 5+ years of behavioral healthcare experience 

  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook and Internet) with the ability to navigate a Windows environment

  • Create, edit, save and send documents utilizing Microsoft Word

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to collect, analyze, and present data

Preferred Qualifications:




  • Supervisory or management experience



  • Prior experience creating reports related to quality improvement/performance outcomes



  • Previous experience with quality measures such as HEDIS



  • 3+ years' experience developing and implementing performance improvement projects, or using data to develop intervention strategies to improve outcomes



  • Previous accreditation experience (such as NCQA or URAC)
