Key Responsibilities

Identify new business opportunities to grow current and new customer business with US national dealer accounts.

· Account Management – Designs, develops and implements specific and innovative
programs to satisfy account needs and drive value; Leads the responsibility for the
account’s relationship ensuring the planning, execution and delivery of PPG commitments;
Measure and document account performance to plan; Maintain up-to-date account profiles.

· Account Growth – via account relationship, support account profitability and growth
initiatives for mutual benefit; mobilize and execute necessary resources to support growth

· New Business Development- identify, pursue, negotiate, develop and implement plan with
new accounts.

· Field Sales Support – coach sales staff to support account locations; Assist sales staff in
securing regional dealer accounts targets.

· Contract Preparation – given account relationship and value provided, data collection,
analysis and recommendations, serve as a key secondary role in contract preparations,
strategy development, and renewals.

· Competitor Awareness – understand competitors, their offerings (products & services) and
develop counter measures to potential competitor threats.

· Industry Awareness – identify industry trends and initiatives (distributors, e- commerce,
insurance companies, CSI providers, consultants) and assist accounts in strategy
development to meet such trends.

Qualifications

Experience and Education

Requires:
· Business degree or equivalent experience
· Minimum 5 years business experience
· Quick learning of PPG value offerings
· Strong computer proficiency – Power Point, Excel, Word

Functional and Technical Skills

· Strong communication & presentation skills (written & verbal)
· PPG Product and Value Added Services Knowledge
· Green Belt Certification or Equivalent
· Asset: Business Industry Knowledge
