SUMMARY:

Here at Noodles & Company we call our Field Marketing Assistants “Tour Guides” who are responsible for helping spread the word about Noodles & Company through local relationship marketing.  This role will work to supplement ongoing restaurant marketing efforts and educate guests about our concept, tell our story and bring people into our restaurants.  The Tour Guide will assist with market wide events and activities, support New Restaurant Openings (NRO’s), blitz businesses to find new catering prospects and ensure, at the restaurant level, menus, current marketing materials and chalk board messaging are accurate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform strategic business blitzes in defined restaurant trade areas to spread the word about Noodles throughout trade area
  • Conduct onsite visits to each trade area twice a month
  • Execute NRO plans as directed by Marketing Leadership
    • Work to fill mock lunches and dinners for NRO’s and spread the word around the new trade area both before and after opening
    • During NRO’s the Tour Guide will greet guests at the door and educate guests about the Noodles & Company menu and experience
  • Responsible for driving membership to the eClub by informing guests of club benefits and assisting with sign up
  • Act as the primary point of contact for activities at offsite events (set-up and tear down, food prep coordination)
  • Provide restaurant-level tracking via the LRM Shoebox spreadsheet, providing specific follow-up actions and dates

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be confident and articulate with the ability to speak effectively and informatively with guests
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team oriented, adaptable, punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule which may include evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Travel is required throughout assigned area
  • Must have access to a reliable vehicle, and maintain adequate insurance (We provide mileage reimbursement)
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Access to a cell phone and PC computer with internet/email access

 EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous restaurant experience preferred
