UnitedHealthcare, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of companies, is looking for an experienced Director, Regulatory Programs to join our dynamic team. Things are exciting at UHG as we are experiencing unprecedented growth, and looking for someone who will function as a Program / Project lead on large, enterprise-wide programs related to implementing regulatory changes. Reporting to the Vice President, Regulatory Implementation Office, the ideal candidate will be located in our Minnetonka, MN offices, but we'll also consider you if you're a stellar internal candidate located elsewhere in the United States.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree

  • 8+ years of healthcare or related experience leading & managing large programs or projects

  • 5+ years of experience working in a large virtual/matrixed environment with various levels of employees from senior level executives to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence in a large, matrixed organization

  • Proven success leading change initiatives, solution teams and execution against financial targets

  • Demonstrated team leadership, project management and analytical skills

  • Exemplary communication, collaboration and organization skills; will lead executive presentations to senior leadership

  • High energy, detail-oriented and creative individual with roll up your sleeves attitude

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Advanced degree

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP certification

  • Experience with HIPAA, state, and international privacy mandates, including experience working with a variety of government entities and industry associations

  • Experience in UHG's Community & State (C&S), Employer & Individual (E&I), and Medicare & Retirement (M&R) segments, products, operations, and regulatory environments
