Clinical Manager

Metrocrest Community Clinic is seeking a highly organized and energetic Licensed Vocational Nurse to serve as Clinical Manager, coordinating the provision of high quality primary health care to uninsured adults. The Clinic, founded 21 years ago, is a 501c3 charitable organization located in Northwest Dallas County. The Clinical Manager will plan and coordinate the daily medical services of the clinic. He/she will implement policies and procedures that ensure that best medical practices and organizational policies adopted by the board are followed by both the paid and volunteer staff. The Clinical Manager will be an important part of collecting data to evaluate the effectiveness of the clinic's services in improving the health of patients. Primary responsibilities include:

*Ensure that the clinic's records are accurate, complete and meet the required standards for medical practice and funding requirements,
*Manage the use of Electronic Medical Records,
*Implement patient education and self-management programs to improve the health status of patients,
*Manage the clinic's daily staffing and coordinate the staffing for specialty clinics,
*Act as the primary contact person for patient referrals,
*Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies and order as needed,
*Act as a patient advocate with other providers,
*Orient and coordinate volunteer staff as appropriate to further the mission of the clinic
*Fill in for the Medical Assistant as necessary for adequate staffing.

Licensed Vocational Nurse with at least 3 years of work experience in a clinic, physician office, or related environment preferred. Preference given to candidates with English/Spanish language proficiency.
