Seeking part time Janitorial help for Southgate, MI. Each candidate must be able to pass background check and be drug free for this position. This is a part time position, 24 hours/ week, Monday through Thursday.
The position requires cleaning of the facility along with light maintenance duties when needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
-Housekeeping: understand and use MSDS; use cleaning chemicals properly; clean assigned areas as required; maintain cleaning equipment.
-Experience preferred especially with some floor care experience strip waxing buffing carpet cleaning etc. but will train the right candidate.
-Light electrical, carpentry experience is a plus
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:
- Some light maintenance experience required
- Ability to work independently and willingness to work hard to manage the workload
- Ability to communicate effectively and to handle a fast-paced, varied work environment
- Must be organized, self-motivated and have a positive attitude
- Assuring compliance with safety standards
- MUST have your own transportation!
Wage negotiable depending on experience.
