We are seeking a Vision Assistant Store Manager for our Dunwalk, MD location. You will ensure the store meets all operational, sales goals
Positions in this function support the vision operations (retail vision stores, production lab) of the business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Oriented
- Works on tasks Independently
- Optical Knowledge
- Familiar with Insurance Programs
- Basic phone, fax, and copy skills
- Basic administrative duties
- Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit.
- Impact of work is most often at the team level.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Open availability to work a 40 hour work week between Monday through Saturday.
- Previous experience using a lensometer and pupilometer.
- 6+ months of Optical experience.
- 6+ months of Supervisory or Management experience.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships in an environment of fast change; Must be able to direct and motivate a diverse associate population.
- 6+ months Retail Customer Service experience.
- Previous experience managing sales increases while maintaining appropriate cost structure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ABO/ NCLE Certification.
- Experience working with Retail Point of Sale systems.
- Experience working with visual merchandising and marketing of retail products.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
