Responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the company’s information technology systems. Executes business application development projects and subsequent support of those applications. Focus on system and application administration of Linux, Oracle BI 11g, Oracle Fusion Middleware, WebLogic, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle databases and data warehousing.

Key responsibilities include:
*Works with other IT staff and/or business users as required, ensuring support of their business objectives.
*Supports testing of application programs and systems within the company's system/regression test environments.
*Performs analysis and design and other systems development life cycle (SDLC) tasks as required to support project objectives.
*Adapts to and utilizes the appropriate technology within the company's existing architecture, development tools, and standards. Including technologies used on the BI, ERP, Healthcare and Operations Applications teams.
*Performs the administration and management of the application/server infrastructure and ensures optimum performance levels.
*Recommends technical solutions and supports technical direction of projects.
*Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
*Ensures server data integrity by evaluating, implementing and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
*Develops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation.
*Supports the identification and resolution of application and technical issues.
*Assists in the change management process, and adheres to the defined change management guidelines.
*Understands project management concepts. Guides others in the estimation process. Manages technical sections of the plan.
*Communicates effectively, verbally and written, with manager, peers, business customers and other IT teams.
*Provides after-hours support as needed.

We seek the following qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a science related field is strongly preferred and a minimum of five years of Systems Administration/IT experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Oracle BI or Fusion Middleware certification(s) would be a plus.
*Has advanced understanding of system administration concepts and techniques and in depth knowledge of specific IT infrastructure disciplines which could include hardware, software, databases, networking, installations, backups, etc.
*Has a working knowledge of a skill or discipline that requires analytic ability.
*Has an overall understanding of the work environment and process.
*Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
*Team player who performs well in a fast paced environment.
*Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, documentation and troubleshooting skills.
*Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team.
*Able to manage a small project start to finish.
*Able to identify and anticipate issues and perform advanced level troubleshooting techniques with no direction from manager or peers.
*Able to assist others with problem resolution.
*Proficient with specific skills in IIS, VB, JavaScript, VBScript and PowerShell.
*Knowledge of general network infrastructure technologies, past experience of Document Management Systems and Workflow tools helpful.
*Expertise with Oracle and SQL Server DBMS, XSL, HTML, SSRS, MS Access and MS Office.
*Experience with mobile application deployment and management through an MDM solution is a plus.
*Expertise in ERP/EMR technologies and system administration concepts (These will include management of web servers, application servers, process schedulers, security administration, installations, web services, integration technologies, etc.)
