Job Overview:

The Senior IT Auditor performs audits/special assignments that review procedures and controls over financial and operating systems to ensure the company is effectively utilizing and controlling its assets. Perform other duties as assigned. This position is located Downtown Cincinnati, Ohio.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs audits/special assignments that review the information technology infrastructure and business applications for design and operating effectiveness of internal controls (including Sarbanes - Oxley related controls).
  • Supervising and providing on-the-job training.
  • Writing reports of audit findings and making recommendations for corrective action.
  • On an ad hoc basis, performs special projects or administrative tasks dealing with closing audit files and preparing for the next assignment.
  • Travel is approximately 70%.
  • Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • 4-year degree bachelor's degree required, in related field of study (e.g., Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science). Professional certification preferred (i.e., CISA, CISSP, CIA). 3-5 years of relevant professional experience required, related industry or public accounting is preferred. Strong understanding of the design, configuration and operating effectiveness of controls related to enterprise network security, network infrastructure components, wireless networks, firewall management and threat and incident management. Knowledge or experience of retail industry is preferred.

Communication Skills:

  • Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicate with individuals at various levels of the Company. Strong attention to detail, specifically involving analytic and problem solving skills.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Must have above average mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands:

  • This position involves extended periods of sitting and the extensive use of computer and the office equipment. May involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Other Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail, specifically involving analytic and problem solving skills. Excellent judgment and professional skepticism. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.

Work Hours

  • Travel is approximately 70%. Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs.
