JOB DESCRIPTION

We're currently seeking an Administrative Assistant III for a contract opportunity in Richmond, VA with one of the nation's largest producers and transporters of energy. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and experience with an industry leader currently operating the nation's largest natural gas storage system.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Under general supervision, this role provides highest level of clerical and administrative support to a management level(s), department or group of professionals.
  • May assist in development of policies and guidelines to carry out administrative responsibilities.
  • Set up meeting invitations, coordinate the logistics for meetings (food, location, travel arrangements, etc.).
  • Assist with the logistics for bringing new employees on board (IT access, laptop set up, ordering cell phone, etc.) .
  • Regularly uses computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, graphics and presentation software.
  • Perform general office duties such as:
    • Answering telephone calls
    • Making appointments and scheduling meetings
    • Initiating and composing correspondence
    • Typing as requested
    • Collects, compiles and analyzes information and data
    • Investigates questionable areas and makes administrative decisions
    • Maintains and updates office supplies and assists in maintenance of department files
  • May handle confidential records and information, and/or make travel arrangements.
  • Exercises considerable discretion in performance of duties and responsibilities.


Qualifications:
  • High School degree or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years' advanced administrative experience required.
  • Intermediate experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint preferred.
  • Requires good communication and writing skills .
  • Good interpersonal skills, effective at developing relationships.
  • Ability to collect, compile and analyze information and data.
  • High level of initiative and ability to use judgment.
  • Strong skills operating computerized and standard office equipment.
  • Excellent skills using word processing, spreadsheet and graphics software.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills.
