The Senior Director Quality, Re-engineering Consulting role is responsible for driving growth of re-engineering consulting practice by creating demand and managing the supply of talents across engagements.


 


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Understand the client requirements & vision

  • Responsible for acquisition of new re-engineering assignments and opportunities

  • Align re-engineering initiative with client's vision

  • Lead entire program/engagement with client

  • Identify perspective process improvement opportunities

  • Handle escalations for external & internal stakeholders

  • Interacts with a diverse group of stakeholders (to include executives, managers, and subject matter experts)

  • Understands critical business and associated risks

  • Conduct reviews and plan strategy for Re-engineering team

  • Replies and follow up on RFP/RFIs

  • Establish Re engineering framework in the organization

  •  Responsible of proactively positioning & selling Re-engineering consulting services across UHG partners


  • Actively participate and network on outside UHG opportunities and create a point of sale for re-engineering consulting services


  • Provide strategic direction to the consulting function on all aspects of the business


  • This position will carry a $ revenue and profitability target


  • Demonstrate strong Quality leadership, relationship management & change management skills


  • Ensures consistent reporting to senior management about the consulting developments


  • Build strong business relationships with US business teams (Sales, RM, and partners)


  • Excellent communication skills including presentation and consulting with key executives


  • Ability to manage customer/partner expectations and influence them on transformation value, techniques and benefits


  • Maintain agreed level of billing utilization of the re-engineering team


  • Applies various process re-engineering methodologies (such as LEAN, Six Sigma, TRIZ)


  • Open for travel (50%)

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

  • 12+ years of experience business process and re-engineering leadership

  • Demonstrated track record of selling process re-engineering offerings

  • 7+ years of internal and external client facing experience

  • Demonstrated collaboration, influence management and negotiation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to build and foster client relationships

  • Healthcare domain exposure and/or experience

  • 7+ years of consulting experience

  • Prior experience leading teams of consultants

  • Strong Stakeholder management skills

  • Expert in applying Six Sigma, Lean methodologies and/or other process re-engineering tools

  • Results based focused skill set with strong impact and influencing skills

  • Intermediate to advance skills with Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to communicate effectively, direct and motivate team

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Advance degree (i.e. MBA/BE)

  • Certified BB/MBB
