Data Entry

Our client in downtown portland is currently seeking a Data Entry Specialist. This individual would perform data etnry of documents within Excel and Proprietary programs.

Primary Job Purpose Receives, researches, interprets and processes electronic, telephonic or facsimile inquiries related to pre-authorization and care management requests for service. Minimum Requirements - General computer skills (including use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet search). Familiarity with health care documentation and systems. - Effective oral and written communication skills. - Demonstrated initiative in and strong problem-solving skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - emonstrated strong customer service skills, including meeting expectations and requirements of customers and acting with the customer in mind. - Work experience with healthcare documentation and systems, medical anatomy and terminology. - Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal support from team members. - Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills. - Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Normally to be proficient in the competencies listed above: - Clinical Intake Specialist I would have a high school diploma or GED and 1 year general office or customer service experience, preferably in a call center, or experience in the healthcare field or formal education in medical office or billing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
