After-School Instructor

Have FUN while you Work! Our innovative educational after school programs teach children skills they cannot learn at school! These programs are creative with lots of fun and help improve self esteem. All the required teaching materials are included. We are currently looking for teachers for our hands-on after school and pre-school programs Monday - Friday during after school hours (2-5pm) We are now accepting applications for Valparaiso, Portage, Cedar lake, Crown Point, Hammond and Munster . We are interviewing and training now for the 2014/15 school year! Job Description: Instructing elementary aged children on various projects centered around STEAM (science, technology, engineering Art and math). Our instructors work on elementary school campuses, teaching classes to students K-6th grade and preschool. Key Requirements: •1+ year experience working with children •Have reliable transportation •Be on time and have excellent work ethic •Have great organization skills •Enjoy math and science concepts and/or ART •Be able to pass a background check •Own a computer, printer and have daily access to the internet •Have a cell phone • This is a very part-time job (2-8 hours per week). • We prefer teachers with experience with children Candidates must be Enthusiastic!
