Machine Operator - Lathe Micrometer

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Machine Operator - Lathe Micrometer.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

• Be authorized to work in the United States.

Automation is currently looking for several temp to perm machine operators that can run a simple lathe used to polish mud rotors. This position is for 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift!Must be able to:o Read a micrometer and pass a micrometer test. o Must take and pass drug test and background screening. o Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. o Must be able to explain what a lathe is and what it does.Lathe: A Machine for shaping wood, metal or other material by means of a rotating drive that turns the piece being worked against changeable cutting tools.Mud Motor Rotors: A mud motor (or drilling motor) is a progressive cavity positive displacement pump (PCPD) placed in the drill string to provide additional power to the bit while drilling.Job Requirements:?
