A well-established construction/building company in San Clemente is searching for a Part-Time Bookkeeper. We’re looking for someone that has bookkeeping experience working for a general contractor or construction-related business. The schedule is 3 to 4 days a week, 9AM to 5PM. It's a casual work environment and the d ays are flexible. Compensation is based on experience. This is a temporary position that could turn into a permanent position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Data entry of payables, check runs and filing using QuickBooks Contractor 2012
- Prepare AIA billings and invoices
- Work with joint checks and lien releases
- Assist in the Accounting Department, when necessary
Job Requirements:
- Previous bookkeeping experience in the construction/general contractor business
- Be proficient with QuickBooks (QB Contractors 2012 preferred)
- Be familiar with the AIA billing system
- A diverse background in software is a plus
- Able to work with little supervision
- Excellent communicator, written and verbal
