The Six Sigma Master Black Belt with Optum OpX employs Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations in order to accomplish business objectives. Works with Six Sigma-certified professionals as well as business leaders in the planning, designing, and accomplishing of key projects. 

This is a is a key role on Optum OpX focused on supporting Call Center projects and programs. The successful candidate will support and lead projects and initiatives impacting processes that directly influence health care consumers' health and well-being.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Strategic and tactical planning


• Engaging with Executives to drive change agendas, individually and as a group


• End to End Process Mapping


• Gathering requirements and documenting business processes from key stakeholders


• Building the transformation 


• Deep understanding of end to end call center operations processes

You're empowered to do your best by assisting with Operational Projects throughout the organization! Are you a subject matter expertise using Six Sigma methodology in project management, scope definition, risk identification, methodology and resource allocation or facilitation? Assist us with strategic initiatives crossing business teams and operating groups as a Project Six Sigma Consultant to coordinate and complete projects, define performance and results and manage vendors and service providers. You'll investigate non-standard requests and problems, makes presentations to senior leadership, ensure project documentation is accurate and ensure projects are completed on time and within and risks, prioritize your work load and work on ad hoc projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree and/or equivalent education and experience


• Six Sigma Black Belt certification


• 5+ years of project management administration and/or project management experience to include tracking/reporting responsibilities for a large portfolio of projects


• 3+ years of experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions


• Moderate to advanced MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills


• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely and to ability to facilitate meetings


• Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities


• Prior experience with call center operations projects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master Black Belt certification


• LEAN
