Bachelors Degree (Science Field) - Experience not required
Must be Self Motivated and Reliable

Description:

Will be working under the Lab Manager and Technician to clean and calibrate all lab equipment and will also assist in all day to day lab activities.

Responsibilities:

They will perform a wide variety of physical/chemical duties in a lab and plant environment to assist the lab techs and chemists with research and development projects. Their duties will include cleaning the glassware and lab equipment (i.e. lab roll coaters), maintaining lab cleanliness, maintaining stock of lab chemicals (waterborne resins for finish formulations), as well as assisting in the other leather finishing processes. The laboratory assistant will be required to learn a basic knowledge of products, lab equipment, production equipment techniques and procedures. Must be able to perform duties with minimum supervision and must be able to life 50 lbs.

Additional Information:

Monday - Friday (1st shift) 40 Hours per week.
