Securities Analyst

Job Description:

This person is responsible for processing transactions and reconcilemts relating to loan or security payments. They are doing MS Excel uploads with large amounts of data that they are given. Identify and communicate processing exceptions that are relevant to similar series across individual portfolios. Officials must maintain a working knowledge of their area of expertise, including Collateral, Securities, Default or Trust Administration.

Duties include:

• providing remittance and correction information to servicer
• monitoring and analysis of pooled loans to determine non-compliance
• communication of information to investors
• evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with stated agreements
• participates in system enhancements by attending user group and testing

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in FInance, Math, Statistics, or Accounting
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Access (preferred)
• Experience with financial analysts or data analysts
• 1- 2 yrs. Prior work experience or internship in the financial or business related industry
• Strong work ethic and detailed oriented
• Strong analytical skills
