Quality Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Our client is a well established steel manufacturing company. They're a mid-size company on there way to becoming very large. Targeting managers or supervisors that have a passion for quality and upholding high standards of customer satisfaction and safety.

Job Summary

The principle role for this job is to develop, apply and enforce quality standards. Responsible for ensuring that customer expectations are clearly understood and translated into manufacturing practices. Emphasis will be on establishing, implementing and maintaining Quality Systems that are customer focused and value adding.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ensures that quality standards are aligned with customer requirements and that they consistently meet customer expectations
2. Develops, establishes and deploys process control and capability to ensure and maintain product quality at the least possible cost and maximum productive capacity
3. Demonstrates continual focus on improvements and enhancements
4. Provides assistance in developing Quality policy and plans

1. Administers all customer specifications, to assure customer needs and product integrity standards are met

1. Plans, develops and delivers Quality communications
2. Meets with responsible managers, develops improvement plans, provides historical data, etc.
3. Responsible for ISO 9001 Compliance
4. Responsible for maintaining the Quality Manual
5. Follows Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures
6. Other duties, as assigned, or as business needs required

Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience:

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
2. A Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent preferred.
3. Minimum 3 years Supervisory experience in the metal/parts manufacturing industry.
4. Minimum 3 years QA Management experience in the metal/parts manufacturing industry.
5. ISO 9001 experience and knowledge on a daily basis required.

Starting Pay, Duration and Benfits:

- $50,000 to $60,000 per year starting. Based on experience and skill level.
