Process Engineer

Great client in Newport KY area is seeking a Process Enginner to join their team.

Position is temp to hire, paying $18-21/hr. Work week is Monday to Friday.

Provide Technical Assistance to Production Supervisros, Maintenance Services and customers.
- Design /develop equipment and processes fro maximizing productivity, quality and safety.
- Manage the Company Safety Program
- Calibrate Gauges and Instruments
- Make recommendations for purchase of new and/or additional equipment with cost justification
- Set up preventive maintenance for equipment and responsible for maintaining equipment
- Trouble shoot production problems to reduce waste, breakage and downtime.
- Work with maintenance staff to iprove and repair equipment. Support computerized maintenance program.
- Perform time studies to uncover ways to increase production and through-put.
- Keep abreast of developments in materials, processes and equipment applicable to Hear Treating. Interface with suppliers as required.

Qualifications
- one to four years of engineering or relevant previous experience preferred.
- knowledgeable in PLC (Programmable Logic Controls), Welding, hydraulics/pneumatics and high mechanical aptitude
- AutoCAD Preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to take supervision and direction from multiple people and prioritize accordingly
