PrideStaff is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a Plastics Manufacturing company located in Romeoville, Illinois. This position starts at $11.50/hour.



3rd Shift - 10:30pm to 6:30am Sunday-Thursday

*will train on 1st shift for the first 2 weeks at a pay rate of $11.00



Description and Key Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Quality Manager the primary responsibility of the Quality Control Inspector and the Lead Inspector will be focused on:
  • Quality Control Inspector (QCI) and Lead Inspector (LI) use precision measuring tools and lab equipment to perform inspections and tests according to company quality plans and protocols.
  • QCI and LI to perform all product testing related to quality tests and inspections to support production.
  • Provide feedback to machine operators according to company plans and policy.
  • Report all non-conforming quality issues to supervisor immediately that are related but not limited to production.
  • Issues hold tags and non-conformance reports as instructed by supervisor.
  • Ensure quality reports, production documents and calibrations are accurate and confirm with company policy.
  • Communication of any issues and problems in daily shift meetings between shifts.
  • Perform qc-data entry reliably and complete.
  • Job duties may be changed or added as needed.
  • Coordinate with supervisor to ensure all shifts are covered appropriately in case of absence of an inspector.
  • Ensure that all food safety and quality problems will be reported to supervisor and documented immediately.


  • Report food and safety and quality problems to personnel of authority to initiate action
