Thermoplastics Machine Operator - Full-time

CoWorx Staffing is recruiting for a Thermoform Operator for a great manufacturing comping in Millbury, MA.

Summary:

Through working knowledge of the proper equipment operation, the trained team member will ensure the operation of the line will produce high quality materials within acceptable specification parameters in a safe and efficient manner. This candidate will also be flexible to work in other areas of the facility on an as needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for in spec on time manufacturing of product

* Responsible for the startup, operation, clean up and shut down of the coating equipment

* Responsible for maintaining clean facilities, work area and equipment

* Follows precise test procedures

* Set up and monitor materials during a run

* Verifies correct material is being utilized

* Verifies quality and reports issues/defects to Lead

* Assists Lead or Supervisor with assigned tasks

* Completes all documentation during and upon completion of production runs as required

* Responsible for FIFO, proper storage and handling of resins, as well as all testing used to determine fitness for use

* Responsible for ensuring the proper staging and use of material as well as inventory reduction

* Package and labels materials as required

* Operates Hoist and Pallet truck

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Job Requirements

*High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years manufacturing experience in a production environment

* Speak and read directions in English

* Dependable team player with excellent attention to details

* Reliable and safety conscious individual

* Must commit to the work schedule outlined (work schedule to be flexible while in development)

Physical Requirements

Moving, bending and lifting up to 60 lbs.

Compliance with and use of PPE is essential
