We are seeking aWarehouse Distribution Shipping Coordinator for a great opportunity with one of our leading clients.



Job Responsibilities

As a Shipping Coordinator, you will mainly be responsible for setting up and preparing orders for domestic and international shipping.You will cross train in a variety of other warehouse functionsand will work as a team player, participating in loading and unloading trucks.

Responsibilities of the Shipping Coordinator role include:

• Must have international shipping experience
• Must be able to articulately and effectively communicate with sales group
• Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to speak with a number of different end users, both internal and external
• Individual will be using UPS, FedEx and Digital Shipper
• Experience shipping hazardous materials is a plus
• Must be able to juggle a number of duties at once Picking and packing orders for distribution
• Preparing distribution documents

• Ensuring Quality Control
• Acquiring product knowledge
• Mastering Warehouse Management Systems
• Learning ISO standard compliance
• Investigating discrepancies
• Learning international shipping and receiving

• Training in other warehouse functions
• Following all safety procedures

As a Shipping Coordinator, you must be positive and able to work in a team-oriented environment. We are seeking natural leaders who are able to motivate others,learn, and grow with the organization. You must be safety conscious and able to keep workplace neat, clean, and free of hazards. You must be able tomaintain a zero error rate with a thorough understanding of the entire production process. You must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Other requirements of the Warehouse Shipping role include:

• 3+ years of Experience
• Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime
• Must be comfortable working on your feet for long hours
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to cross train
• Willingness to learn new equipment (forklifts, etc.) and computer programs
• Ability to exceed productivity standards of 98%
• Ability to meet deadlines without use of overtime
• Strong proponent of company’s safety program
