Primary
Responsibilities:



  • Support
    / drive project initiation activities, including cost/benefit analysis,
    business case, charter, capital requests, etc
  • Responsible
    in part or in whole for project success – meeting sponsor and stakeholder scope
    expectations on time and within budget
  • Primarily
    focused on projects relating to operational or system improvements for data,
    analytics and reporting functions
  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects across various
    functional areas. 
  • Provides subject matter
    expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification,
    project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of
    expertise based on established project management techniques. 
  • Makes
    presentations to management on project updates, project cycle, and expected
    results. 
  • Ensures projects are completed on time and in scope. 
  • May manage vendor
    and service providers to define project scope and performance expectations. 
  • Incumbents maybe part of a project management office (PMO) in their business. 
  • Project Management roles specific to a particular functional area should be
    assigned to that family where appropriate (e.g. IT Project Managers should be
    placed in the IT Family).
  • Analyzes and investigates.
  • Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise.

Requirements



Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Business or related field OR High School
    Diploma/GED with 7 years of equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of project management experience
    related to data analytics and reporting in a weak matrix environment
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
    and SharePoint including creation of charts and graphs
  • Experience with senior level management


Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification highly preferred
  • Agile Certification preferred
  • PBM Project Management experience highly
    preferred
  • Project Management in Health Insurance
    Industry preferred
  • Experience with project initiation, Cost
    Benefit Analysis (CBA), business case, capital request
    preferred
