As a Product Development Manager, you will develop the strategy and vision for product
roadmaps, establish collaborative relationships with external and
internal stakeholders, gather accurate requirements and evaluate product
performance for enhancements. You will strategically and creatively
think about how the consumer experience should work, translating a vision to processes and requirements that impacts millions of lives and helps health the health care system.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Navigate and influence multiple cross-functional teams in a complex, matrix work environment
- Support the development of market and sales strategies and value proposition
- Forecast revenue or savings opportunities associated with product development initiatives
- Manage cross-segment projects and initiatives that require problem solving, relationship building, influencing and analyzing
- Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges.
- Influence
innovation across teams to ensure aligned; cohesive progress across
multiple areas including technology, marketing, and service operations - Knowledge of Medicare, Medicare health plans (e.g. Medicare Advantage) and Group Retiree solutions.
- Responsible
for the design, development, management or sunsetting of new, existing
or acquisition products. Reviews product performance against
expectations and facilitates or influences changes to product portfolio
to improve competitive position and optimal product performance. May
work with internal or external business constituents to determine
product future direction or respond to product inquiries. May be
project-based and involve working within multiple product functions. - Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years of Product Management/ Product development experience
- Microsoft Office Suites (min. of 3 years exp)Current proficiency with Microsoft Excel (data sorting and filtering); Word (create documentation); PowerPoint (import objects and create deck)
- Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a matrix environment
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others
- Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
- Healthcare experience
- Advanced degree
- Medicare experience
- Account management experience
- Microsoft Visio experience.
