Requirements

Job Purpose: The objective of the Dairy Sales Support Specialist position is to increase Elanco's net income by increasing sales for HGS accounts, increasing selling force sales time and improving customer satisfaction.

The hours of this position are Monday through Friday 9:00AM - 6:00PM.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Inside Sales / Territory Management
* Make outbound sales calls to Active, Lapsed and Candidate Accounts
* Meet and/or exceed sales goals for Elanco Dairy Business
* Maintain and update sales target lists
* Actively engage in use of 30 day plans
* Analyze territory situation to focus for maintenance and growth of sales
* Develop and implement process improvement recommendations
2. Field Sales / Customer Support
* Supplemental customer contact in absence of Dairy Field Rep
* Order Management and credit resolution
* Information collection via outbound call projects
* Special Projects as assigned
* In-depth knowledge of pricing guidelines to serve as informational source for customers and field team
* Develop and implement process improvement recommendations
3. Program / Order Administration
* Scheduling logistics of Used Syringe Disposal system
* Make proactive outbound calls in regard to credit related issues
* Database Projects
* Communication and Support
* Program administration
* Error resolution
* Develop and implement process improvement recommendations
4. Team Building
* Build strong, positive relationships with St. Louis HGS Team
* Build strong, positive relationships with Internal Sales Team
* Build strong, positive relationships with Field Sales Teams

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Skills)

* BA/BS in Business related field preferred
* 2 - 4 years previous customer service experience is required
* Proven analytical skills
* Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
* Organization and Planning Skills
* Multitasking and ability to prioritize workload
* Detail Oriented
* Intermediate Computer Skills Utilizing MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
