Line Cook - Full-time / Part-time

Ethos Greek Bistro is looking for highly motivated cooks to join our team. We need people who are eager to learn and ready to work. Experience is preferred. Minimal of 1 year required.

Requirements
High school education or equivalent. Culinary or apprenticeship program preferred.
Knowledge of health and safety, sanitation,
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and make the necessary corrections if needed.
Responsible to assist the Chef and Management to ensure quality food is prepared and displayed in order to achieve customer satisfaction
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in designated work areas.
Ensure food is handled, processed, and stored in accordance with HACCP program.
Report any questionable product concerns to the Chef or Management to maximize product utilization and minimize waste.
Assume Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef responsibilities during absence
Perform other related duties as assigned
Knowledge of all kitchen equipment operations
Ability to read, write, and understand English
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures
Job includes cross training on sautee, grill, fry, salad preparation, and assembly line. Must be able to multitask and work quick.
