Plant Helper/Material Handler - Full-time / Part-time

Spartan is currently hiring Plant Helpers/Material Handlers in Rosemount, MN. These are long term temporary positions that will rotate 3 days on then 3 days off including weekends on 1 st shift, 4:45 am to 5:00 pm. Job Description Plant Helper - is an associate that will be working in the foundry stacking ingets, Using a shovel to remove them from the conveyor belt and restacking onto pallets. Will need to Keep up with the machine and stack according to specification. Will rotate the lifting with other employees and work to help cool ingets and label and inventory pallets Material handler – is an associate that will be working in the foundry and in the warehouse yard as a material handler. Employee will operate a forklift to remove materials and pallets of ingets. Employee will need to perform some basic lifting, however tasks are not as repetitive as the plant helper position. Job Requirements • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds • Knowledge of basic math, reading and writing • Ability to read a tape measure • Forklift experience preferred but not required • Willing to submit to background check and drug screen.
