Spartan is currently hiring several Production Workers in Middlebury, IN for a reputable manufacturing company. Production Worker Job Description Production Workers store, and issue materials, equipment, and operate machinery to produce quality parts. Maintain equipment and production area. Keep records and compile stock reports. Manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor. Duties may include, but are not limited to: • Start, maintain and stop equipment • Assist with production line • Load and unload items from machines, carts and dollies • Feed or place items onto equipment for processing • Pull damaged or ineffective equipment off the line • Read and interpret gauges and record data Job Requirements • 2+ years previous manufacturing experience • Steel Toe Boots, long Sleeve Shirt and Baseball hat required • Ability to work in extreme heat • Able to stand, bend, squat and stoop for an entire shift • Able to do some heavy lifting Ideal Production Worker Candidates • Relevant experience preferred • Committed to safety at all times • Excellent attendance Pay Rate: $10 hour Shift/Hours: 1 st and 2 nd shifts 7am-5pm and 4:30pm-2am Lots of overtime is available!!!
