Spartan is currently hiring a Material Handler.
Job Description
As the material handler you will be responsible for the accurate storing and staging of product to meet company standards, safety, security and productivity.
• Moves product to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stacks and stores the product in the appropriate area
• Maintains good housekeeping and empties trash as needed
• Operates fork trucks, hi-lo's and electric pallet jacks in a safe and responsible manner
• Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse
• Charge fork lift batteries as needed
• Participate in physical inventories
• Assists in odd jobs in office area, inside and outside of plant as required
• Assists in building, grounds and equipment maintenance as required
• Repairs pallets as necessary
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed
Job Requirements
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as a Team and follow direction
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Letter Shop experience helpful, but not required
• Forklift and pallet jack experience

Pay Rate: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour Temp to Hire Opportunity. Benefits available immediately.
Shift/Hours: Monday – Friday 3 shifts; 7:00am – 3:30pm, 3:15pm – 11:15pm and 11:00pm to 7:00am.
