Production Operator - Full-time / Part-time

QUALIFICTIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be able to work unsupervised and direct other personnel when supervisor is unavailable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. ( Other duties may be assigned by Supervisor.)

1. Ability to read, speak, and write English. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to add, subtract, and locate necessary information.
2. Ability to operate a forklift. Must have been previously issued forklift license and have minimum 3 months experience operating a forklift.
3. Ability to use computer to input and retrieve information. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet usage.
4. Ability to operate production equipment successfully. This includes:
a. Bending, lifting, and loading raw materials up to 50 lbs each into machinery.
b. Monitor equipment through computer screens and physical observation.
c. Coordinating these activities with other Production Associates.
5. Ability to work well with others, including management.
6. Ability to work different shifts and overtime as required.
7. Ability to come to work on time and meet other attendance requirements.
8. Ability to work safely, including using all personal protective equipment.
9. Ability to hear and respond to audible alarms.
10. Ability to work in a non-temperature controlled environment.
11. Ability to work at elevations as required.
12. Ability to use tools as needed to perform adjustments and maintenance.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma is the minimum requirement.
3 months forklift driving experience is required
