THE POSITION

The Parts Runner is responsible for pulling and delivering parts for the Parts Department.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A high school diploma or equivalent;
• Knowledge of mathematical principles (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying, and percentages) and application; automotive parts, desired;
• Ability to coordinate activities with other employees; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language;
• Must have a valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

• Pulls and delivers parts to the technicians.
• Picks-up cores and warranty parts from technicians’ stalls.
• Helps with stocking and posting orders when they arrive.
• Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to other dealers’ or/and guest when needed.
• Helps shipping maintain our tire inventory.
• Operates the forklift when necessary.
• Ensures their work areas are kept clean and in order.
• Assist the body shop with their orders when necessary
• Performs other specific administrative functions as directed by management.
• Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
• Maintains professional appearance at all times.
• Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
