Sponsorships Manager – Flavored Carbonated Soda Drinks, Snapple, and Juice – National Platforms

In the role of Sponsorships Manager, this person will lead national marketing sponsorship strategy, planning, and execution for Flavored CSD, Snapple, and Warehouse Direct brands. They will drive marketing sponsorship integration across brand strategies and tactics, through collaboration with cross-functional marketing partners. They will manage internal and external sponsorship and business stakeholders. This person will also support and encourage professional development across the Marketing Sponsorship team, through mentoring and peer-to-peer coaching.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ year progressive sponsorship experience, supporting a consumer brand. In addition to Sports related sponsorship experience, they will also have some experience with entertainment or lifestyle platforms.

The position is office based in our Plano, Texas headquarters, with 25% travel.

Responsibilities



Business Objectives and Strategy: Support delivery of business volume and profit objectives. Participate and contribute to DPS portfolio and brand strategy sessions, as well as assess sponsorship opportunities for strategic brand fit. Lead sponsorship planning meetings, and provide fact-based POVs and recommendations on new or recurring opportunities.



Project Management: Lead contractual asset reviews, sponsorship execution, and post analysis.

· Lead development of branded signage, POS, packaging, activation, and promotions. Collaborate with cross-functional marketing partners, sponsor partner, and agency partners on sponsorship execution.

· Lead post-analysis, including contractual asset review, asset valuation, and ROI modeling. Collaborate with Sales and external sponsor partners on post-analysis reporting.

Budget Management: Lead budget management for sponsorship properties, including accurate planning and financial investments to activate each partnership. Operate with a rapid, continuous improvement mindset.



C ommunication: Gain alignment and understanding from key stakeholders, and integrate and collaborate with Brand, Sales and external sponsor partners. Execute all sponsorships at retail and/or with consumer-facing programming designed to drive impact on the business. Work with Marketing Sponsorship Team (VP, Director, Managers, and Associates) to share best practices. Inform Sponsorship Leadership Team (SVP, VP, and Director) to gain alignment on program activation plans.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, major in Marketing, or a related field, and 5 years of sponsorship or consumer marketing experience, or High School diploma/GED and 9 years of sponsorship or consumer marketing experience.

2. 3years’ experience making verbal presentations to members of Marketing Leadership.

3. 5 years’ experience using MS Office products (PowerPoint, Excel).
