Position Description:



 



The Operation Manager's role is to
be the primary contact for the Group Retiree account management team on
escalated Operations issues, represent Transaction operations, Customer Care
and Appeals areas on the Account Management team, direct strategic initiatives
in support of goals and objectives of business plans.

Primary Responsibilities:

The role will represent
operations on the account management team for designated Group Retiree
accounts.  Accountability will include
tracking and proactive management of any PGs, ensuring operational non-standard
processes are being executed and are in control and providing oversight to
issue resolution. The position will work closely with the designated Client
Service Manager and account team. The position may manage and have
accountability for professional employees.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree or 5+ years' experience in account and client
    management where you have had direct reports
  • 1+ years Group Retiree or Medicare experience
Assets:
  • 3+ years customer facing experience (ability to develop relationships and network)
  • Experience coaching and developing team members
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of health insurance industry, products and services, managed care environment
  • Demonstrated people, process and project management skills and experience; attention to detail, well-organized
  • 3+ years claims, call, billing, and/or enrollment systems knowledge to provide guidance to advocates
  • Ability to travel (25%) to meetings when requested (up to two times per month)

  • Ability to set priorities, strong decision making skills, leadership skills, analytic/problem solving skills.
  • Work with a high degree of autonomy, self-starter, multitasker
  • Strong customer service/relationship skills and ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and with both internal and external business partners
  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written skills
