Accountant

Manpower is currently recruiting Accountants in the Lock Haven, PA area. Ideal candidates will have corporate, partner tax-preparation, general ledger, audit, and financial statement preparation experience. A CPA is required. This is a long term direct hire opportunity. Competitive pay based on combination of ability and experience. Requirements/Qualifications: Tax Preparation of the following returns: * Individual * Sub-chapter C and S Corporation * Partnership * Fiduciary * Not-for-profit * All states, domestic, and foreign * All types of local At least 2 years of experience in the industry and the following: * All types of standard accounting software (Quickbooks, Peachtree, etc.). * Ability to perform tax research. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Additional qualifications: * Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and statements. * Excellent organizational skills and constant attention to detail and accuracy. * Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills and experience applying these skills. * Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects while meeting goals/deadlines. * Demonstrate effective communication skills - articulate issues in a clear and concise manner, and present findings as well as recommendations. * Results oriented, Dependable, Strong team player with 'Can Do' approach. * Solid work ethic. * Must possess the ability to work in a fast paced, self-starter, team oriented environment.
