Adjuster

Manpower is currently hiring an Adjuster for one of our clients in O' Fallon, MO!

Main Responsibilities:

Analyzes coverage, investigates facts, evaluates damages, writing estimates, and negotiate settlements on moderate to complex first party personal and commercial property losses by phone.

Documents all case facts in a timely, clear and concise manner.

Accurately investigates and evaluates claims in a timely manner and properly establishing reserves.

Articulate facts, strategies and evaluations both in writing and verbal.

Performs preliminary subrogation investigation and preserve evidence.

Effectively coordinates and utilize independent adjusters as needed.

Participates in team meetings.

Job Requirements:

High School or equivalent.

3-5 years of commercial and personal insurance experience handling moderate to complex first party property claims, interpreting coverage, investigating, analyzing, and evaluating and negotiating moderate to complex first party losses.

Field claims and Xactimate experience a plus.

Extensive knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices.

Excellent negotiation skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient with MS Excel and Word.
