Transportation Manager

Our client in the Denver Metro area has an immediate need for a Transportation Manager to join their team. Candidates will be considered immediately.

Job Description: On a day-to-day basis, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service through on time delivery, as well as to effectively monitor and reduce delivery costs using backhaul strategies and optimization of total fleet performance.

Your primary responsibilities will be to manage and dispatch a fleet of 13 CDL-A drivers, maintain a stringent adherence of FMCSR compliance, utilize and maintain a large leased equipment fleet, work closely with other members of management both locally and regionally, and consistently perform to budgeted goals and expectations.

Requirements and Qualifications: You will be a professional, self-motivated individual who succeeds in fast paced work environments. You will have a Bachelor's degree OR will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation fleet management. You will have demonstrated strong skills in safety / DOT compliance, oral & written communication, P&L responsibilities, Electronic On Board Recorder systems, and computer literacy. Experience with Roadnet, Mobilecast, PeopleNet, or Transportation Management Systems considered favorable.
