About this job

- Actively pursue relationships with existing client base which includes having communication with existing customers once a month and seeing the customer in person at least once a quarter
- Provide primary client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance
- Pro-activley target and develop business with new clients
- Provide timely and accurate responses to cusotmer's required proposal and/or bid
- Identify and meet with decision makers and learn needs and current vendors
- Propose and present new solutions for security and life safety systems promoting all products and serivce offerings
- Facilitate, prepare, and review all major deliverables
- Follow up on all sales leads in a timely and effective manner
- Exceed annual sales goals
- Prepare the annual sales plan for approval and consistently refine throughout the year
- Maintain the CRM activities, opportunities, and forecasting daily
- Attend project turnover meetings and operations when required
- Attend asociation meetings and networking functions as assigned by sales manager
- Build targeted list of prospective customers for use as sales leads
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers
- Assist fellow employees and provide regular two way communication between the client and the team

In general this position will require a unique combination of account management and new sales, in addition to strong technical knowledge. Knowledge of the market and contacts within the space are preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of outside sales experience in a complex technical sales environment, with any time in the security industry or related industry (IT, telecommunications, audio/visual. building automation)
