Predictive Modeling Analyst

Aerotek currently has a need for a Predictive Modeling Anayst with experience analyzing supply chain processes in the St. Louis area.

Responsibilities will include these activities.

  • Design, create and implement predictive analytic models to support supply chain business processes including demand forecasting/planning, supply forecasting, production, logistics and customer service.
  • Research current process and emerging needs for analytic models, data inputs & outputs, analytic metrics, and user interface needs.
  • Identify and document sources and flows of business data used in analytic models. Identify data quality issues, potential data governance approaches and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with large complex data sets in a predictive modeling context
  • Experience in predictive modeling algorithms such as multi-variate regression, neural networks, support vector machines, clustering, and Bayesian statistics
  • Experience in statistics or econometric modeling such as time series, partial equilibrium, and almost ideal demand system
  • Experience developing analytic models in tools such as R, SAS, SPSS
  • Detail oriented with the ability to dive deep into business process, data and analytics
    • BS/BA degree, preferably in statistics, engineering, economics or supply chain.

Desired skills/experience:

  • Experience working on statistical modeling for supply chain decision-making
  • Supply Chain certification such as APICS CPIM, CSCP or SCOR
  • Experience with linear programming and stochastic optimization with tools such as CPLEX or Gurobi
  • Master or PhD in engineering, statistics, agricultural economics, or supply chain
  • Six Sigma or Lean certification
