About this job
Mechanic will be responsible for maitnenance on machines inside the facility, which includes: augers, compactors, hydraulics, reactors, and agitators.
They will receive orders from a CMMS (computer maintenance management system) which holds information about the plants machinery and maintenance protocols. They will open up the program and receive daily instructions for maintenance. They will be responsible for documenting all work/repairs that they did for the day.
90% Mechancial repair / maintenance work - changing out motors, gear boxes, valves, piping, etc
5% Electrical repair to include rewiring
5% Receiving instructions / input information into the CMMS
1st Shift - 5am-1pm or 7am-3pm
3rd Shift - 7pm-3am or 9pm-5am
