As a Senior Project Manager - OSS Business Initiatives, you'll shift scope definition, risk identification, methodology and resource allocation to a gear you didn't even know you have. Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead or help develop program or project scope statements, in consultation with applicable stakeholders (e.g., program/project charter, Statement of Work, Business Vision Document)
- Work with resource managers to drive the identification of the skills, duration and effort required for successful project execution
- Collect, analyze and maintain financial forecast information (e.g., labor, hardware, software), using input from applicable sources
- Establish/apply quality objectives, criteria, standards and levels using appropriate quality management methods, with stakeholder input (e.g., key performance indicators, scope definition)
- Develop, communicate and implement program/project risk/issue management plans and strategies (e.g., mitigation, avoidance, transfer, acceptance)
- Effectively and efficiently own the successful delivery of all assigned projects including managing all cross-function work stream owners (real estate, training, telecom technology, human capital, etc.) - function as the project General Manager
- Create work order (scope) and charter as required
- Create and manage project plan, issue log, lessons learned, close document, fmea, control plan, etc.
- Identify team roles and skill sets required to quickly create a highly functioning team
- Direct the team and resolve conflicts: direct team to complete projects on time, within budgetary guidelines - escalate issues appropriately
- Assesses progress and reports status to management and key constituents (i.e.: sites, other functional leaders, etc): timely written or verbal communication of project status to management - highlight areas of concern or needed assistance - track status of project timelines and milestones and communicate with management and team member
- Responsible for overall quality review of project, ongoing and final evaluation and documentation of team/project procedures
- Consistently utilize standard project management tools and adhere to document retention standards
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- 4+ years of project management experience to include experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MSWord, Excel, Powerpoint
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projects

- MS Project,Visio and SharePoint
